Jukan-Na-AI Announces GFR-X2 Reactor — 40% More Efficient

Jukan-Na-AI today announced the successful completion of prototype testing for the GFR-X2 reactor, the next generation of its award-winning Green Fusion technology. The new reactor delivers 40% greater energy efficiency and can be built in half the time of its predecessor. Commercial deployment is expected to begin in Q1 2027.
«This is the most significant breakthrough in clean energy since we launched the original GFR-X in 2010,» said CEO Hiroshi Tanaka. «The GFR-X2 will make clean nuclear energy accessible to every nation on earth.»
Jukan-Na-AI Signs €2.1B Agreement with European Energy Council

Jukan-Na-AI has signed a landmark €2.1 billion agreement with the European Energy Council to supply clean nuclear energy to six additional EU member states by 2028. The deal, negotiated by COO Carlos Mendoza, marks the largest clean energy contract in European history.
Construction of two new GFR-X reactors in France and Germany will begin in mid-2026, with full operations expected by late 2027.
Jukan-Na-AI Wins UN Global Clean Energy Award 2025

The United Nations has awarded Jukan-Na-AI the prestigious Global Clean Energy Award for 2025, recognizing the company’s outstanding contribution to reducing global carbon emissions. Since 2010, Jukan-Na-AI’s reactors have prevented an estimated 480 million tonnes of CO2 from entering the atmosphere.
CTO Yuki Nakamura accepted the award on behalf of the company at the UN Climate Summit in Geneva.
New Vancouver R&D Center Opens — 200 Jobs Created

Jukan-Na-AI officially opened its new state-of-the-art Research & Development center in Vancouver, Canada. The 45,000 sq ft facility will serve as the primary development site for the GFR-X2 reactor and employ over 200 scientists, engineers, and researchers. Head of R&D Sophie Tremblay will lead operations from the new center.
«Vancouver is the perfect location for our R&D hub — world-class talent, strong university partnerships, and a government committed to clean energy,» said Tremblay.
